The Space Campus of the UPEC is collaborating with foreign universities. Thanks to this international cooperation, the different ground stations located around the globe will share their structures to accurately track the CubeSats sent in orbit by the various partners. In addition, student exchanges between the UPEC and these universities are also set up.
Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) – South Africa
This collaboration has been made possible thanks to the F’SATI (French South Africa Institute of Technology), a major project launched in 1994 following the visit of President Nelson Mandela in France. In addition to providing listening time on its ground station, the University of Cape Town has also developed and provided the UHF / VHF communication card of the OGMS-SA CubeSat.
Virginia Space Grant Consortium (VSGC) – Virginia, United States
VSGC is an American consortium that notably gathers various Virginia universities but also other institutions such as NASA. These prestigious structures shared their expertise and helped for the development of the Space Campus tracking instruments.
